Their system of exceptional and well-maintained trails enables hikers to now experience places that once could be reached only by skilled mountaineers.
For 2009, Alpine Adventure Trails Tours offers seven – 12 night/13 day - hiking trips to Switzerland and two - 12 night/13 day - hiking trips to Austria. Optionally, guests may elect to do only the first six nights or the last six nights of any of our trips.
Why are our prices lower than other premier tour operators?
Our high repeat and referral rates allow us to keep advertising and operating costs to a minimum. Since 1998, over 70% of our guests have been repeat clients or have been referred by former clients. We believe this is directly related to our policy of having at least one company owner on every tour. An owner on every tour adds a level of flexibility that ensures that each trip can adjust to changes and continue to run seamlessly.
We are a small, family-owned and operated hiking tour company that has specialized exclusively in Switzerland and Austria since 1978. We return each summer to our favorite Swiss and Austrian inns where we have built wonderful relationships with the innkeepers - in some cases for multiple generations.
