You’ll go from warm valleys flush with spectacular wildflowers to cool glacier-coated mountaintops that boast awe-inspiring vistas. And from the base village of Muerren, you’ll have a perfect vantage point to take in the 72 waterfalls of the spectacular Lauterbrunnen Valley.

  • July 29 & 30: day-hike mountains above Zermatt
  • July 31: free day to explore on your own
  • August 1 and 2: day-hike mountains above Zermatt
  • August 3: travel by train to Muerren with a boat cruise on Lake Thun
  • August 4, 5 &6: day-hike the Jungfrau region
  • August 7: free-day to explore on your own
  • August 8: travel by train to Zürich arriving by 10:30 a.m. for return flight
