Neustift, Austria – Hiking Tours

Jewel of the Stubai Valley –

The pretty Tyrolean village of Neustift, located off the Brenner Pass in the famous Stubai Valley, is nestled amid 109 towering mountains and the grand Stubai Glacier, which holds the largest glacial skiing area in the Tyrolean Alps. Hikes in this part of the Tyrolean Alps are numerous and accessible to all skill levels, thanks to a network of cable cars and ski lifts. The waterfalls, including Grawa, noted as one of the most beautiful in Austria, are particularly impressive.

Neustift is located a mere 25 km (16 mi) from the museums, cathedrals, and architectural wonders of Innsbruck. Within the town are shops, restaurants, bars, and the parish church of Saint Georg, one of the largest village churches of the Tyrol region. The Rococo-style chapel houses magnificent frescoes by noted master artists of the late 1700s.

All trips have two or three guides with a maximum group size of 12. Three levels of hiking are offered each day.
